The Assembly of Members is the body that decides the line of the association. Its function is described in article 12 of the Apei Statute.  The Assembly is ordinarily convened once a year for the approval of the final and estimated budget or extraordinarily if requested by two thirds of the regional, provincial and city presidencies.  All members in good standing with the membership fees participate in the National Assembly. There are no proxies.  All members have the right to cast their vote, also through electronic voting methods, which are regulated from time to time by the National Council. Participation by members can also take place via videoconference.
